Shahrukh is a huge fan of Shakira
Shakira’s music and her humbleness has so intensely inspired Shahrukh that the actor wrote on his micro-blogging site that he was fascinated with her.

"Gorgeous, gracious and absolutely heartwarming Shakira. [She] was so nice to the kids. We are [her] fans for life," tweeted Shahrukh.

Interestingly, the actor’s family didn’t miss a chance to take pictures with the Columbian singer, which Shahrukh has posted in his social networking page for his fans.

Moreover, Shahrukh is said to be very pleased with the way the ‘Waka Waka’ singer pronounced his name.

“She was so humble & so real. thats why she is such a rockstar. said my name with a beautiful accent too. My wife & daughter adore her...so do the father & son... thank you so much for ur graciousness. You are a fabulous star, the kids think of me as a big hero now. May God bless you. Love srk,” further wrote SRK.

Shakira's Waka Waka In Trouble

With a win for Spain, the football World Cup is over. But the Controversy for the Famous World Cup Song has just started. The Official Song of FIFA world cup, 2010 ‘Waka Waka (this time for Africa)’ by Colombian Singer Shakira is sued for Copyright Infringement in Zimbabwe.

The song is inspired by the 1986 global hit “Zangalewa” by the group Golden Sounds of Cameroon. The song features Zolani Mahola of the South African group Freshlyground, singing in Xhosa, one of the official languages of South Africa.

Earlier this week, El Nuevo Día reported that famed Dominican Singer/Songwriter, Wilfrido Vargas, plans to sue Columbian singer, Shakira, for the unauthorized use of his music in Shakira's "Waka Waka: This time for Africa" song (for the 2010 World Cup).

But if the authorities were to find Shakira guilty of plagiarism, $11 million is like one strand of her knappy cat hair. So it’s likely that Waka-Waka will continue.

Waka Waka song has a Malayalam Version
Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ song might have been the official song of this year’s FIFA World Cup. But surprisingly due to its soaring popularity across the globe, a Mallu singer has come up with a Malayalam version titled ‘Laka Laka’.

The ‘Laka Laka’ song sung by Ligi Francis has even become an instant hit after it was added on YouTube. So, this funny song has even become the talk of town after it was circulated among fans.

Sakira says that she is completing the world in this year.

The singer announced she would be completing a world tour earlier this year, adding she planned to perform some of her biggest hits such as Waka Waka, She Wolf and Hips Don’t Lie. Shakira has now spoken about the details of the Tour Of Earthly Delights, revealing she has teamed up with theatre director Felix Barrett. Felix is famed for letting audiences decide how they want a production to unfold, which is how Shakira’s shows will work.

“He’s one of those golden minds so I’m designing the show with him. It’s going to have themes and there’ll be a lot of audience interaction,” she explained.

“My live show will have a lot of dancing, a joie de vivre. I feel such freedom on stage. It’s such a rush to be performing. I like to see everybody’s faces on stage, to see the reaction. Normally you can only see the front row because of the lights. I want people to feel things up close. My vibe is to gather different influences from all over and put them together with my own style.”

Shakira wowed with an appearance at the Glastonbury music festival in June, and plans to recreate the atmosphere from there. She loves playing to such a huge crowd, calling the experience one of the best of her life.

Felix is delighted to be working with the Columbian star. He has previously worked on shows which allowed the audience to walk around on stage, but is remaining tight-lipped about what he has in store.

“It is important to make the audience the most important aspect of theatre. They should have much more power than they have ever experienced before,” he told British newspaper The Daily Star.

The Tour Of Earthly Delights will kick off in North America, travelling to Europe in November.
